“Not So Surprise Birthday”
A part of the series dedicated to Hallie’s late grandmother, Not So Surprise Birthday is inspired by the pale blue silvery suit her grandmother wore at her “surprise” 89th birthday which she had delegated to her daughters to plan. The energy and movement throughout this piece is meant to represent the fun and chaos of having 39 family members and multiple friends present to show her a good birthday.
